Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why should I build a post frame building?

Some people who are not familiar with post frame construction harbor a misconception that post frame is just for temporary structures. They think that it is an inexpensive way to construct a shed or farm building, but not useful for much else. Nothing could be further from the truth. Although originally developed for agricultural applications, post-frame design has proven extremely flexible in application. Architects have designed many types of structures to meet various needs and blend in with the surrounding community. Post-frame methods have been applied to commercial, industrial, retail, residential, and retrofit remodel applications. Churches, schools, firehouses, public buildings, strip malls, warehouses, convenience stores, airplane hangers and shops have been erected using post frame design. These are all permanent structures that have withstood the test of time.
